Then I decided to become a Lab Rat (now a Ant Farmer) in the Qt Developer Network and since then the forum hasn’t disappointed me once. Getting the attention of a troll, a certified specialist or just the right person with the same (solved) problem is just a luxury.

It's one of the best compliments I have received concerning the site we built here.

I put a lot of time and effort into setting the tone and making the forums a welcoming place. Many other places I have used myself or looked at in all these years trying to find a solution for a technical problem had an almost negative vibe that made me -- and possibly others -- abandon them without ever contributing anything.

It's personally very rewarding to read that we succeed with our approach.

It's one of the things we never do before moving away: visiting the city's tourist attractions. Tonight we took a walk through the Landschaftspark Nord to introduce my favorite Norwegian to old industry.

Alexandra left one stage to enter another and turn her second passion – Free and Open Source Software – into a profession. After a transition period of 12 months of freelancing both in Software and opera, she joined Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks as Web Community Manager. She has gained her considerable expertise in community building and interaction by supporting KDE – KOffice in particular – and other Qt related projects and is considered a natural talent in her field.

She kinda maintains her own blog and keeps a handy google profile.
