In 1994, the lovely Seth Robson and Noel Tolentino had a wonderful zine called Bunnyhop. They were doing a high school-themed issue called “Geeks vs Jocks” and they asked me to write something.

I turned in two stories. One was a tribute to Scott Scanlon, the geeky character on Beverly Hills 90210 who shot himself during the first season, co-written with David U of Distorted Pony. The other was “A Girl’s Guide to Geek Guys,” written with Victoria Manassero.

I bet you have seen the text somewhere. It's hilarious. I finally came across the site of the original author - Mikki Halpin - who wrote down how it all came about.

    I feel old now.

Pretty nice place and brilliant weather. Now, let's see how the food turns out to be.

Now, Apple silently answered Nokia by adding a video which shows that Nokia N97 mini, when held a certain way, also shows significant signal loss. Grip the phone in a weak signal area, Apple claims, and it can drop from 7 to 2 bars. Check out the video below.

So... I watched the video, I tried for quite a while but totally fail to reproduce the issue. Which makes me wonder if after all it isn't more of a carrier problem...

Oh, and don't miss the comments on the article. It's hilarious. Or rather: embarrassing.

After approximately 12 hours of sleep and a whole morning in bed, I feel almost well again. Maybe I should just stay where I am for the rest of the day...
